1906: Year the Fulton Building was constructed

2001: Year the renovated building re-opened as the Renaissance Hotel
Address: 107 Sixth Street in Pittsburgh's Cultural District

Grosvenor Atterbury, the same architectural firm that designed the original
building, was hired to do the rennovations

During the initial cleaning of the rotunda dome, the crew removed over 300
pounds of coal dust

Restoring the copper on the outside of the building was the biggest copper
restoration project on the East Coast since the Statue of Liberty in 1986 - over
40,000 pounds of baking soda was used.

The Fulton Building medallion inside the entrance of the building was discovered on the original floor and refurbished.
